We start the process of prepping the floor by diamond grinding the surface. The floor prep is extremely important for the material adhesion, so that the slab is ready to accept the waterproof overlay.

How Long Does It Take To Waterproof A Floor?

To truly waterproof, the method we described above needs to occur several times with different layers.. Each coating layer typically takes a full day and there are up to 3 layers involved in this process. Depending on how large your space is, expect a full day for each waterproof coating layer. Hurricanes are treacherous in Sarasota so we make sure to do a really thorough job.
